Executive in Residence for Investments

Tracy WashingtonTracy Washington serves as Executive in Residence for Investments on the EIR Team. Tracy has spent the past 20 years working with the International Finance Corporation. Currently, she is the Head of the Fragile & Low-Income Country Investment Coordinating Unit where she advocates and champions investments in the private sector for challenging markets. She is also leading the IFC’s implementation of a $2B IDA-Private Sector Window which is a first-of-its-kind project for the World Bank Group and IFC. Throughout her career, she has worked on complex projects in some of the world’s most challenging areas such as Sub-Saharan Africa, Mozambique, Myanmar, and other fragile and conflict affected situations. Tracy oversees our Investments Community of Practice and investments projects during the MSF Summer Clinics. She also serves as the lead of our MSF Women’s Initiative which is formally launched in spring 2019. Tracy is a proud Georgetown Hoya having earned her MBA from the McDonough School of Business.
