Who Hires Georgetown University MSF Graduates?
“I loved the flexibility the program provided. I learned valuable skills from a highly regarded program online. I took my learning with me wherever I went. This opened opportunities for me to pursue internships and experiences that further enhanced my learning without location being a limiting factor.
Additionally, I loved the people I met in the program. My classmates came from a wide array of backgrounds ranging from the military to filmmaking. There was an abundance of diversity in life experiences and career paths that introduced me to new ideas and possibilities.”
Kavita (Kakkar) McGrady (MSF’23), Investment Banking Analyst, Harris Williams
“The MSF program was instrumental in propelling me toward my career goals following my undergraduate studies. Through its extensive alumni network and faculty, I gained invaluable connections and mentorship opportunities that have opened numerous doors to achieve my academic and career goals.
The highlight of my time in the program was the Global Consulting Project in London. This trip was a phenomenal way to finish the program by applying many of the skills I had learned throughout my classes and summer internship.”
Alex Freeman (MSF’23), Investment Banking Analyst, KippsDeSanto & Co.
“The MSF program provided a unique opportunity to add to my quantitative toolkit by improving my understanding of capital markets, financial modeling, accounting, derivatives, and valuation, which gave me the foundation to be successful as an asset manager in private equity.
The hybrid nature of the program was incredibly valuable and allowed me to continue to work full-time and be present with family while I pursued my education. The professors, diverse background of the MSF cohorts, and overall Georgetown community gave me the support and confidence I needed to kickoff the next phase of my career. Georgetown challenged me to be exceptional academically, and I learned to be a better leader and team player.”
Shane Brownell (MSF’23), Asset Manager, Ritz Banc Group

Beyond the rigorous curriculum and top-tier education, this degree has endowed me with invaluable skills and knowledge and empowered me to navigate the complexities of the financial world with confidence and expertise.
Moreover, it has provided me with a strong network of peers, mentors, and industry professionals. This degree has played a pivotal role in propelling my career forward, opening doors to new opportunities and leadership roles within the financial sector.”

Executives in Residence
We believe the ability to make connections between what you learn in class and what you can expect to encounter in real-world situations is key to the overall value of your MSF degree.
For that reason, we launched the Executives in Residence program in 2016. Today, students have access to several executives in residence who focus on helping students develop key skills and competencies in the areas of consulting and investing. Our executives in residence are available to advise students and also are responsible for leading our MSF Summer Clinics projects. They bring tremendous experience and an executive perspective to their work with the MSF Program and are a vital link between the curriculum and business world.
