Business Associations and Alumni Networks

Georgetown University and the McDonough School of Business frequently host networking events in cities around the nation and across the globe. Career networking is supported by Hoya Gateway, Georgetown University’s online alumni network, and offers opportunities for alumni to mix, mingle and build social capital and networks within their industry.

Georgetown University McDonough Alumni Relations Cabinet (ARC)

This select group of seasoned alumni meets twice a year to discuss and provide professional counsel back to Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. The ARC provides ideas and strategic direction on how to best serve our growing population of alumni with activities and professional programming that our alumni want. Each representative serves a two-year term.

Wall Street Alliance

The Georgetown University Wall Street Alliance connects more than 6,000 members of the Georgetown University community involved in financial services. The Wall Street Alliance regularly sponsors events for members, featuring prominent speakers from the finance industry, bringing attention to the university and its students both past and present.

Chicago Business

The Chicago Business Alliance is a professional community of Georgetown University alumni, parents and friends interested in networking, mentoring and raising Georgetown University’s profile in the Midwestern business community. Modeled after the Wall Street Alliance in New York, the Chicago Business Alliance serves the Midwest financial community by broadening opportunities for engagement among McDonough alumni and friends.

City Alliance

The City Alliance brings together alumni, parents, students and friends in the London financial community for opportunities to network, mentor, career-counsel and promote Georgetown University’s profile. 

Georgetown University Entertainment and Media Alliance (GEMA)

GEMA connects members of the Georgetown University community involved in the entertainment and media industries worldwide. 

Young Alumni Mentor Program

The Young Alumni Mentor Program presents opportunities for alumni to serve as mentors to current McDonough School of Business undergraduate and graduate students. Events and activities include formal dinners, roundtable discussions, interviews, and professional development workshops and other networking activities.
