Senior Career Counselor

Amanda LangerAmanda Langer is Senior Career Counselor on the Career Management Team.  Amanda has spent the last 15 years working in career advising, counseling, and coaching settings at universities, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.  In addition to her work with the MSF Program, Amanda is Program Director for Professional Development Training at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  Prior to joining the NIH, she served as the Director of Career Services at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies program in Bologna, Italy and as the Director of Career and Alumni Services at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.  She also held positions at The George Washington University, The New School University, and the Pentagon.  She holds a master’s degree from NYU, an undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego, and a post-graduate certificate in career and workforce development from The George Washington University.  She was also awarded a Fulbright Scholar Grant for International Education Administrators.   Amanda is also a nationally board-certified counselor.
