Assistant Teaching Professor and Director of Academic Operations for the MSF program
Jonathan Heath is an Assistant Teaching Professor and Director of Academic Operations for the Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Prior to his appointment at Georgetown University, Jonathan taught courses in financial institutions and markets, money and banking, and business statistics at St. Bonaventure University.
Jonathan’s current research is focused on the application of machine learning and AI in finance and business. In addition to presenting at numerous national conferences, Jonathan has published several articles across science and business analytics in journals such as Scientific Reports, MDPI Sensors, Physical Review Applied, and Physical Review B.
Jonathan received a dual B.S. in Mathematics and Computational Physics from Francis Marion University in 2015, a Ph.D. in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics from Auburn University in 2021, and an M.S. in Finance from Georgetown University in 2023 (MSF X – Accelerated Track).
