Ed.S., GCDF, MCC Associate Dean for MSF Career Management & Strategic Initiatives
Thomas Stowell serves as the Associate Dean for MSF Career Management & Strategic Initiatives. In 2015, he established the MSF Center for Career Strategy and Professional Engagement and continues to lead the career management strategy and expansion of resources for the MSF Program. He is the primary point of contact for students, alumni, and employers related to career management.
Mr. Stowell brings over 15 years of experience in career management to his work at Georgetown; having previously developed and launched five new career centers at various colleges and universities during his career. He has consulted with a wide-range of businesses and organizations including The World Bank Group and The U.S. Department of State on issues related to career management, global mobility, organizational strategy and culture, talent development and retention, recruitment, human resource policy, and the launch of new initiatives.
He received his Ed.S. in Counseling and Leadership from The George Washington University and also holds an MA and BA in Education. He is a credentialed Global Career Development Facilitator and holds the Master Career Counselor from the National Career Development Association.
